Addaction - Addaction staff are based within the Community Justice Centre. Addaction is a UK charity working in the field of drug and alcohol treatment. With over 70 services across the UK, clients come from all backgrounds and are of all ages. Some have long-term addiction and dependency problems.
Citizens Advice - The Liverpool Specialist Advice Service is based within the Community Justice Centre, North Liverpool and provides specialist legal advice to North Liverpool residents. It is operated by Citizens Advice, a registered charity, which provides free, confidential, impartial and independent advice to help people resolve their legal, financial and other problems. Citizents Advice operates from over 3,200 locatoins in the UK. More information.
Crown Prosecution Service - responsible for prosecuting criminal cases investigated by the police in England and Wales.
Ministry of Justice - The Government department responsible for courts, probation and prison policy.
Home Office - The Government department responsible for law, public order, public safety, immigration, fire, passports, prisons and the police throughout England and Wales.
The Lighthouse Project - Lighthouse staff are based within the Community Justice Centre, North Liverpool. Formerly Merseyside Drugs Council, Lighthouse is one of the leading UK providers of services to substance misusers and those affected by the substance misuse.
Liverpool City Council - is the local authority responsible for providing public services and political leadership in Liverpool. Staff from the council's Safer Neighbourhood Service are based within the Community Justice Centre, and are specialists in dealing with anti social behaviour.
Liverpool Housing Trust - Liverpool Housing Trust (LHT) staff are available to provide housing advice to all North Liverpool residents from their base within the Community Justice Centre. The LHT group is one of the most experienced providers of housing in the North West, owning and managing thousands of homes in the region. Its team has in-depth experience of North Liverpool.
Merseyside Police - responsible for maintaining law and order across the region.
Positive Futures - The Community Justice Centre works with Positive Futures across North Liverpool. It is a partnership between Sport England, the Home Office and the Youth Justice Board. The Football Foundation and other governing bodies of sport also support the initiative. It aims to use sport to reduce anti social behaviour, crime and drug misuse among 10-16 year olds within local neighbourhoods.
Victim Support and Witness Services - Victim Support and Witness Services is the independent charity which helps people cope with the effects of crime. They provide free and confidential support and information.
Youth Offending - The Liverpool Youth Offending Service is a multi-agency team, made up of social workers, police officers, education and health staff, probation officers, youth workers and other specialists. The team deals with young offenders between the ages of 10 and 19 and has a wider role, working with young people to prevent offending.
